Visiting Residents

Residents hoping to complete an away rotation at ECU Health Medical Center must rotate within one of our ACGME-accredited Residency or Fellowship programs. Please contact the program leadership for the associated Residency of Fellowship program to request rotation availability. Once approved by the program, the GME Office will assist in your onboarding.

GME must receive notification of visiting residents 2 months in advance of the anticipated rotation if the visiting resident has a NC Full or Resident Training License.

GME must receive notification of visiting residents 3 months in advance of the anticipated rotation if the visiting resident does not have a NC Full or Resident Training License.

Visiting Residents are not permitted between May 15 – August 15.
